Improve Your Writing Skills With A Diploma Training Course From Learning 24/7.

Most people secretly would love the opportunity to be able to sit quietly in a coffee shop with a laptop for 6 months and come up with ‘The Lord of the Rings’ or ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’. Few though, with the exception of JK Rowling, ever manage to achieve this. But why? Is it lack of time, lack of resources or lack of talent that holds people back? Actually, the answer is much simpler than that.

For many aspiring authors, it is a lack of motivation that holds them back the most. That and fear of rejection. Writing a book is like becoming an Olympic champion. Many of us dream of stepping up to the podium but few of us will ever get to hear the national anthem play. Yet, those that do achieve the ultimate in sporting immortality do so after years of hard work, dedication and training. They all saw an opportunity to chase their dream and took it. Just as no athlete begins their journey as a champion no author will ever become Stephen King overnight.

Everyone has a book in them, but in most cases that’s where it should stay

We don’t buy into the above quote by the late columnist, social critic and author of over 30 books Christopher Hitchens. Quite the opposite. If you have something inside of you that you need to get out then go for it.

Once you have decided to write your first novel or construct your blog you really should take the time to learn some basic techniques. The same applies to any content creator including photographers and videographers. Learn from people who have already done it. Every budding content creator started off by facing exactly the same problems as you will face. Investing in an online training course will pay dividends in giving you the tools and the motivation to create your own content.

The following online diploma training courses are all available courtesy of Learning 24/7, one of the UK’s market-leaders in distance-learning and self-study multimedia-based training.
